An Italian flame-thrower, fitted to a light tank, has been examined and found to have a
maximum range of 100 feet. It is reported as mechanically inefficient, using an excessively
large amount of fuel, which is towed in a trailer behind the tank. The fuel consists of a
mixture of gasoline and fuel oil.
If a sufficiently powerful centrifugal pump, as well as additional fuel, were made
available, it is believed that the flame could be thrown a distance of 300 feet.
