There is evidence indicating that at least some German heavy antiaircraft
batteries have been organized on a six-gun basis instead of the usual four
guns. There are indications that in North Africa this change had been
effected to a large extent some time ago. In one instance the equipment
of a heavy antiaircraft battery in North Africa is reported to have
included six 88-mm guns and two 20-mm guns. There were also 62 vehicles, among
which were 9 motorcycles, 20 medium trucks, 8 tractors,
and 11 trailers.
