SUBMARINE DETECTION It is believed that radio sets direction finding SCR 208 A or equivalent can be used to locate submarines which surface at night to transmit information gathered during the day. Submarines cannot be picked up by radar detectors. A skilled operator is needed for each set. (J-29, Ft. Shafter)
